About

COto windows features traditional Scandinavian design, which is combined with up-to-date shapes, faultless functionality and highest quality. Windows are designed to achieve the highest energy efficiency and thermal insulation performance up to Uw= 0.77 W/m2K.

Advantages and application

COto windows are made of a wooden frame with recycled composite material and aluminum claddings on the outside. Windows can be used in all type of buildings: private houses, apartment houses, as well as public and office buildings with a wide range of architectural, functional and visual requirements.
Windows include an indestructible composite material, which breaks the cold bridge, minimizes heat loss and provides higher temperatures around the edges of the glass. In addition, the risk of internal condensation is greatly minimized.

Even if moisture gets underneath the sash, it cannot damage the window, thanks to the composite part.

Glass

COto windows have extensive possibilities for glazing type of the choice: different sun protection, sound insulation, personal safety, self-cleaning, self-dimming, painted glass, fire safety, anti-burglar and thermal insulation with different levels.
To ensure optimal indoor climate without mosquitos or similar, wood aluminum structures can be offered with integrated insect screens.
Window bars: The window cross bars have multiple options to choose from that perfectly match any window system.
Technical calculations for statics and wind loads are done for all glazed projects.

Accessories

Operating function of windows is provided by IPA, PN, GU, MILA-GARANT, ASSA, HOPPE and others. Standard handles have silver EV1 color. Upon request wide choice of design and color handles for various needs, aesthetics and purpose can be used. Windows can be equipped with extra features to ensure child safety, anti-burglar, PAS24, RC-2 protection, automatic or hand controlled distance openers and more.

Internal and external window sills can be delivered upon request. Internal window sills are made of wood and both internal and external sills are available in all RAL color range. Standard window hardware include ventilation position, however, several solutions for ventilation equipment are also available depending on the air circulation and acoustic levels required inside the building.

Paint and surface treatment

External aluminium cladding: all colours offered by the RAL, NCS catalogue with different surface finish such as Gloss, Matt, Granite, or other texture.

Internal wooden part: all colours offered by the RAL, NCS catalogue. Water-based stains and lacquers provide ecological, environment-friendly and natural product look. Most used wood for windows is finger-jointed pine. The hardest part of pinewood – the heartwood – is used for window sashes. Oak, mahogany, sapeli and other wood species can be offered to meet client’s expectations and wishes.

Non-finger-jointed option is available for all types of wood.

Wood is warm, well absorbs sound and provides comfort and warmth to the house, meanwhile aluminium is a modern high-technology product that is particularly resistant to external impact, relatively light and does not add a lot of additional weight to window.
